What A Vacation That Was...
Back from vacation. I seriously needed that break away from the hussle and insanity of city life. As I told my aunt while on vacation, "You can't take a country girl and throw her into a massive city and expect her to like it overnight." I still don't like the city and never will. I tolerate it.
This break also opened my eyes to see how stressed I was actually becoming without even realizing it. No wonder I was trying to break away from everything technological and modern. I could still do without it, but I'll most likely be back to my normal city routine in a couple of week. Joy on that.I'll be writing a more in depth journal about my vacation over on my LJ account tomorrow if anyone is interested in reading the details.
I have two new pets! My house here is starting to become for like a zoo and less like a home, but I love my animals, all of them! While on vacation, one of my aunts that is building a house out on my grandparents farm has a good dozen Budgies of all colors. One particular female was very fertile and kept having babies. There was one little baby I had my eye on the whole entire time I was there because of it's beautiful blue coloration. NEVER had I seen a Budgie with deep, always a turquoise to light sky blue color. To make a long story short, I brought the little guy, or girl, home along with an older male to keep each other company. I'll have to take pictures of them as soon as they have calmed down from the long car trip.
As for art, working on finishing two color pencil drawings, both of Misora. Not sure when I'll have them finished as I'm still trying to get everything unpacked and the house cleaned up again. As for my gallery, I'm put EVERYTHING back up, even the stuff I hate with a passion, so browse through if you wish before I end up putting it back into storage again. Also reminds me, I have so many messages to go through I really don't have time to comment on anything so I've mainly been doing the "Fav and Run" thing. I apologize up front to anyone this bothers.
I'm off to bed now. Even with a good solid 10 hours of sleep over the past 16 hours, I'm still tired out.
Cheers.

I'll see if I can't get some pictures taken of them today. One of them already has a name my aunt had given it, but the other is still nameless. I'll have all the details of my trip over on my LJ account soon.
